In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Kingdom looked forward to both parties honoring the terms of the agreement, which aims to resolve differences and conflicts through comprehensive national dialogue.
The agreement is seen as a step toward meeting the aspirations of the Congolese people for security, stability, and prosperity across all regions of the country.
The statement also underscored the importance of protecting civilians and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to conflict-affected areas.
The ministry added that valued the diplomatic efforts and constructive role played by Qatar in facilitating the agreement, describing the outcome as a “positive and important” development.
